Storytelling and Illustrations

I see the people and how they act

I see the power and its motives

I see the waste and its consequences

I see the loss and desecration

I see innovation and temptation

I see creation with no creativity

This is how I see AI

The Forbidden Apple

I always believed graphic design was about art. I never knew how to use typography or its importance. Montserrat was the first font I found that I liked, not just “oh, it will do,” or because it looks pretty. I want people to be able to observe this poster and to understand the importance and skills that make up typography. Typography can be fun and is an art form. As a way to show my appreciation and love for the font Montserrat, it is the main font found in my personal branding.

My First Favorite Font

Louise Nevelson

"When I fell in love with black, it contained all colour, It wasn't a negation of colour. It was an acceptance. Because black encompasses all colours. Black is the most aristocratic colour of all."

After reading the quote above, black to me, resembles the essence of the LOVE & ACCEPTANCE of man and woman, in the end, they shall be one. Louise takes a closer look at the identity of black and gives it emotion and life. Many people view black as a dark hole with the absence of color

If I take Louise's beliefs about black, then for white, maybe all the colors want white, but white will not accept them. The painting above is SPITE & REJECTION. The opposite of LOVE & ACCEPTANCE. The colors try to penetrate the white but fails to absorb, therefore are reflected off.

Rock Friends

For kids, summer can sometimes be boring or feel as though it lasts too long. Missing her friends, my daughter created new ones. Who knew rocks could play hide & seek, take part in house tours, and be friends with barbies. These rock friends had such a great first summer; they got their portraits painted with oil for my daughter to always remember them by, right before they went outside to take another adventure. Unfortunately, they have yet to return.
